Yellow Moves (November 3, 2020)
Yellow Moves (November 3, 2020) represents the election through color, line and form; Yellow, highlight, spotlit, sun, bright, sunny, beaming, no shadows to hide in, branches, central government, center, connections, stick like...In my latest series of using colors from the rainbow to emulate a feeling, each canvas is 14 x 11 x .75 inches. When completed each color of the rainbow will be represented. ROYGBIV also designates locations on the body that represents specific chakras in a meditation I practice every day. Red toes, Orange heels, Yellow knees, Green buttocks, Blue back, Indigo shoulders and Violet crown. On each inhalation I focus on the color and the part of the body starting with Red toes. When I reach the crown, I inhale a little more air in through my nose and then envision sending out rays of violet healing energy from my crown into the world before exhaling and starting again.
